At North Ridge Church we want to help you grow in your faith. We know each person is at a different place in their relationship with God. You may question God, you may have recently accepted Him as your Savior, or you may have been a Christ follower for many years. No matter where you are in your personal journey, we encourage you to take steps to grow. Here are some suggestions.
We believe part of "living full of life" means doing life together. We offer events throughout the year that help us connect with others. We invite you to join us for cookouts, bowling, park fun nights, movie nights and more! It is a great way to get to know others. View a list of upcoming connection events.
Life groups are a small group of people that meet regularly to share life and grow together spiritually. Life groups give us the opportunity to learn more about how to "Live Full of Life" and spend genuine time with other Christian-followers. Learn more about joining a life group.
There are numerous opportunities to serve in church on Sundays as well as in the community throughout the week. Learn more about serving opportunities.
Baptism symbolizes the spiritual cleansing through God’s forgiveness. It is an outward display of our inward commitment to Christ and our decision to trust in Him. Jesus’ final words to His followers were, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). If you have come to the point in your spiritual journey where you have realized your sins have separated you from God, you have asked forgiveness of those sins, and you are committed to follow Christ, then you are ready to be baptized. Let this miracle that has happened in you be shown to others through this very meaningful sacrament that He has ordained. (If you were baptized as a child, it was the intent of your parents that you would one day be a follower of Christ. Your baptism as an adult can be viewed as the fulfillment of your parents’ wishes. It in no way discounts the baptism you received as a child). Click here to contact a pastor about your interest in baptism.
Children are a gift from God. Child dedication is a public commitment that parents make before God and their church family. It provides the opportunity to express publically their desire to lead and spiritually nurture their children, according to Christian principles, and to partner with God in raising them. Their prayer is that the child will develop a desire to love God and love others. We believe that a child, once s/he makes their own personal decision to follow Christ, can choose to be baptized as a sign of their personal commitment to Christ.
